OUR LOGO
Our logo is inspired by the mangrove, a marine-coastal ecosystem that plays a fundamental role in the face of climate change, the protection of coastal communities, and shows the interaction between the continental land and the seas, and between humans and other species.
The woman standing represents the gender focus of the organization, which seeks to make visible the role of women in the protection of coastal marine biodiversity.
The woman and man pair represents the importance of sustainable artisanal fishing, and the relationships that are woven around it.
Overall the logo represents our ideals of achieving marine justice, sustainable and equitable access to marine and coastal biodiversity, and climate change adaptation and mitigation through nature-based solutions.
